You Trust Epson at Checkout. Now Put That Trust to Work in Your Back Office. ReSource POS + Epson | BusinessFirst Authorized Partner
Back-Office Printing Costs Add Up Across Every Location
Toner, replacement parts, maintenance, and time spent managing printers can become a recurring expense across your restaurant locations.
Epson business inkjet offers another approach. ReSource POS can help you evaluate the right printer for your operation, and test it in one location before considering a broader rollout.
Meet Your Epson Back-Office Options
The Epson WorkForce lineup gives you three back-office options sized to how you print: the compact ST-C4100 for lower volume printing, the WF-M5899 for higher-volume black-and-white paperwork, and the workgroup-tier EM-C800 for busier, multi-register offices that need color too. The WF-M5899 and EM-C800 also support ReSource POS Managed Print Services, so remote monitoring and automatic ink reordering are on the table no matter which of those two fits your volume.

The Epson Business Inkjets We Recommend for Your Back Office

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Epson model is right for our stores?
For most multi-unit restaurant back offices, we recommend one of three models, low to high volume: the ST-C4100 for single-register, lower-volume color locations; the WF-M5899 for higher-volume, black-and-white-only back offices; or the EM-C800 for higher-volume, multi-register back offices that also need color (2,500–10,000 pages a month). The WF-M5899 and EM-C800 both support Managed Print Services remote monitoring. That said, Epson’s business inkjet lineup goes well beyond these three. If none sounds like the right fit, tell your ReSource POS rep how many registers, how much back-office paperwork, and whether you need color, and they’ll recommend the right model for your setup.
Can I keep the demo printer?
Yes. Approved participants can keep their demo printer. There is no requirement to return it or purchase additional printers.
Is inkjet really durable enough for daily restaurant back-office use?
Yes, all three models use printheads and ink systems designed for continuous office-level use, not just home printing. The ST-C4100’s and WF-M5899’s PrecisionCore printheads are built to last the life of the machine, and the EM-C800’s Replaceable Ink Pack System is rated for high-volume commercial output.
How does the cost compare to our current laser printer?
With no printhead to replace and fewer moving parts than toner-based laser printers, most operators see fewer surprise service calls over time. Ink program pricing is available with purchase, ask your ReSource POS rep for a side-by-side comparison sized to your store count.
What is Managed Print Services, and does it cost extra?
Managed Print Services is ReSource POS remotely monitoring your printer fleet, tracking ink levels, automatically reordering ink before you run out, and flagging operational issues as they come up. It’s available on the WorkForce® Pro WF-M5899 and EM-C800; ask your rep about enrollment and pricing.
How does the Demo Unit Program work?
Select multi-unit operators can apply for a free demo unit, limited to one per parent company, to test in a single location before a fleet-wide rollout. Applicants complete a short qualification form; approval isn’t guaranteed and is based on ReSource POS’s program criteria and available inventory. Approved applicants agree to the program’s Terms & Conditions before a unit ships.
Is it safe to print HR forms, invoices, and customer information on these devices?
Yes. Supported Epson models offer layered security features, including authenticated printing, secure release, panel lock, and restricted access to stored information, to help protect sensitive employee and customer data when deployed on a properly configured network. ReSource POS Managed Print Services builds on these device-level protections with fleet-wide monitoring and support.
Does this integrate with our existing POS or kitchen systems?
All three models are standalone back-office printers for invoices, admin, and vendor paperwork. They run alongside, not in place of, your point-of-sale system and any kitchen display system you’re already running. ReSource POS can advise on how it fits your full setup.
What’s covered under warranty, and who do we call if something breaks?
All three models include a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty from Epson. ReSource POS is also an Authorized Epson Repair Center, so install and ongoing support, plus repairs, come from one team, not two vendors to coordinate.
